Major responsibilities for our Greene County Treasurer:

Responsibilities are to receive and receipt all moneys due or accuring to the County. |

Responsible for the daily activities of the County Treasury and keep proper accounts of all moneys disbursed. |
As Tax Claim Supervisor, responsible for the collection of county, school and township/borough
delinquent taxes.
The Treasurer's Office has experienced a CUMULATIVE DECREASE in uncollected county taxes and total number of parcels being turned over to the county tax
bureau. |
As an agent of the State of Pennsylvania, duties also include issuing of licenses and permits for the Commonwealth of PA to County residents and the collection of County taxes
(e.g., dog licenses, fishing licenses, hunting licenses and game of chance licenses).
Additionally, sportsman's firearm permits are issued at the Treasurer's Office. |
